Are Annuities Good or Bad?

Saying that an annuity is good or bad would be like asking if oranges are good or bad. That really all depends upon YoYour taste and needs. If YoYou put money into an annuity and it is not what YoYou needed or wanted, then an annuity is bad. On the other, if YoYou took the time to ask questions and selected an annuity plan that works for YoYou, then of course it would be the proper move to make.

When we hear this questions asked, the first thing we do is answer, well let see! We look at YoYour goals, YoYour age, the amount of time YoYou are looking to invest YoYour money...and more. Getting into an annuity should not be a quick decision but rather a well thought out one. Keep in mind that investing in an annuity is a longer term proposition. YoYou should not look at annuities unless YoYou have at least a five year investment horizon. YoYou should never place all of YoYour money in annuities and certainly not put it all in ONE annuity.

So again, annuities are not good or bad, there are just another option YoYou should consider as a possible part of YoYour portfolio.
